Welcome to the new Victorian Government Procurement Website. This site has been created as a central access point for information related to the procurement of goods and services and links to procurement related sites.
Information on the Victorian Government Purchasing Board's Policies, Guidelines, Tools and Templates, as well as details on Whole of Government arrangements and State Purchase Contracts which were previously available on the VGPB website are now published on this website and the VGPB website has been decommissioned.
The content of the new website has been divided into three sections to allow a user to easily locate the information they require, 'Buyers', 'Procurement Practitioners' and 'Suppliers'. The 'Buyers' section of this website contains information related to procurement policies and procedures that need to be noted when purchasing for government. The 'Procurement Practitioners' section of the website contains a detailed breakdown of the procurement policies in relation to the Stages and Steps of the procurement process. This section of the website is targeted toward users who require a very detailed understanding of procurement policies and processes. The third section of the website, 'Suppliers', contains information relevant to suppliers about supplying goods and services to government.
In addition to providing easier access to procurement related information, a review of policies, guidelines, tools and templates has been undertaken. Policy documents now include the version history and links to related information. The guidelines, tools and templates have been reviewed and updated to ensure that they are consistent with policy and documents which are no longer relevant have been removed.
We will continuously be updating the Victorian Government Procurement Website and appreciate feedback from our users.
